About Us

Company Inc. Sets is run by Beth Goodnight and Bill Horbury, a brother/sister team with more than 20 years experience working together in the film industry. It was quite by accident that in August of 1999 we leased our first studio and the doors were open. Our first big job on our client list was Sears Kenmore. We were trying to figure out how to create all of the sets that we needed for the budget that we had when I got a call from the producer. He had news that the client had shipped all of the appliances that we were shooting to my personal address. Two refrigerators, two ovens, two wahsers, and two dryers were on their way to my small condo.

Contemplating what needed to be done from the balcony of that condo, I noticed a "For Lease" sign on the building across the street. A few days later, that empty building became Company Inc. Sets and was home to our company for 10 years. Each year we found ourselves providing Set Construction for more and more production. Each set seemed to be bigger and more complex than the last.

We eventually added a second warehouse space in the unit next door our original studio. When we found that it still was not big enough for some of our biggest jobs, we knew it was time to upsize. As a result, we recently acquired a new larger space for our company a few block away, as the demand for space has increased.

Our small company has quickly grown to include a dedicated team of extremely talented builders, scenics, upholstereres, metal workers and Model Makers . Specializing in Set Construction, Set Design, and prop Fabrication for television commercials and photo shoots. Company Inc. Sets has a very versatile approach and provides the highest quality construction.
